Delicious dishes. Unfortunately long waiting times. Hygiene should be improved.

First of all, the food was really delicious there. Unfortunately not the last two times. Neither the chop nor the little chicken chop .. a shame ..

By far the worst and most unfriendly restaurant. Man is treated like an assembly line. Chicken is served as a veal delicacy and of course ignored even after complaints. The food doesn't taste good and they don't Customer satisfaction doesn't count.

Never again ... after a long wait to get a burnt meal. Even for still water, you have to wait so long. Service wasn't good either.

By far the WORST Turkish restaurant in Mannheim! Spend your love money on a pretzel at Aldi. It tastes better than the food there. My friend had diarrhea immediately afterwards. I don't want to tell you about the service because there isn't any. Hands off!

Was very dissatisfied. The lentil soup tasted terrible. The food arrived very cold, rice stuck together. Drinks were missing. In addition, the meal came at different times. I was long done with my meal when my friends' meal was served. All in all, it's just totally bad. Never again.

Friendly staff. The food is also good, but you have to wait a long time until a table is free or it is cleaned so that you can sit down. It also takes a while for the waiter to serve you and for the food to arrive.

Long wait, food was almost cold. Beverage reorders were commented but not brought. Waiter very overwhelmed. Little emphasis was placed on all the hygiene rules. One waiter never wore a mask, the others mostly under their noses. Unfortunately, my good first impression from last year is gone.

Food is just strong. In my opinion one of the best in Mannheim. The record for more people has never disappointed. There is always enough and the quality is great.

The food is ok. Not particularly tasty and more expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. The service is awful and unfriendly. Yesterday was the third time there. Each time the food we ordered did not arrive at the same time. Sometimes the dishes are cold or do not come at all. Never again!

When eating, you don't always have the feeling that it is really fresh. For example, I've often had a piece of french fries in the rice or rice stuck to bread. The portions are very large, so that you usually can't manage everything. You are served by 2-3 waiters and unfortunately something is often forgotten. The service is one of the worst things about the restaurant. My boyfriend and I don't go out to eat there anymore.

The service is constantly striving and always friendly! My husband and I find the guest house unimportant for all kinds of occasions, whether with friends, friends or family. I usually didn't want to share dessert with my brother at all. We have now learned from this and will each order a dessert next time. My husband and I think the prices are completely fair.

Actually a great restaurant. Looks noble and beautiful, but the meat is quite strong and will fill you up quickly. I think it's a shame that so much food ends up in the bin. Smaller portions would definitely be better. Nevertheless, this restaurant got 2 stars from me because it looks very nice and the staff are extremely personable!

Super ok! The Turks do not disappoint even in Germany! Generous and tasty portions!

Friends, we went to the square restaurant Mannheim on Sunday, we crowded from Weinheim, we paid as much as the world, but we asked for a 6-course cake plate (empty plate). I was also not delicious at meals, you have to give lessons by not going to such places, and you should learn from others in the summer.

Meydan Restaurant is like Home for me, I’m greeted, hugged and looked after like I’m at my house and with my family, starting from the cooks to the owner, food is always fresh and very tasty, super friendly staff, service is never ever compromised because they know you too much or for whatever reason, always immaculate, I’ve built so much trust there that when I’m shopping and I plan to take food home, I pass by them, I leave all my stuff there, make my order, leave and pick stuff from shops near them and I come again. Every guest and family member that visits me, I take them there first. Because Istanbul Resturant, everyone that works there and the owner are my family here. These guys come out from the restaurant if they ever see me passing by just to greet me. What else would a brother need. I did not see the need to make or post photos because there are a lot and they are all real

Best Turkish restaurant in Germany.

Best service and yummu food

Located at the center of Mannheim city center. One of the best grills of the city. And to make it better the staff is very courteous and tbe service is quick. The food will not disappoint you :)

Stater is delicious

You cant pay here with any foreign card. Only with a German one. They send you, with the best meanings, to an ATM which charge 5 EUR for your withdrawl. Food is good, portions are large, but the fact that they only accept German debit cards and dont tell you upfront about it is ridiculous.

Love Turkish cuisine, I was mesmerised by the taste and hospitality.

Famous yet food is not tasty or well executed. During weekends they take an hour to serve. It is not easy to catch the attention of the waiters. Many other grill places are much better

I have been in Germany for 5 years now and I can confidently claim I have never had such delicious lamb grill as they serve here in Meydan. It was my first time here, ordered the Meydan Grillteller. Great variety of food and reasonable prices. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

If anyone expects to be served decent food within an hour then please do not go there. And there's literally no staff management. For the first 15-20 minutes both me and my husband kept asking the servers for the menu card then after that we ordered and got our orders separately, i was lucky to get a cold plate of kabab rice within 30 minutes but my husband had to wait an eternity for a plate of Döner with bread as hard as wood which the servers refused to listen to. Excuse was bread becomes hard when grilled with oil. So if you want to spend money for some turkish food please visit other shops in Mannheim.

Tasty food, but that's about it. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are decent. Food is okay. Compared to the restaurants near by I'd call this one somewhat in the middle. But still, the food is fresh , waiters are friendly and atmosphere is nice.

Turkish cousine dishes. Good taste, quick service, prices on a cheaper side. Really good tea. A great place to grab some food.

Small Turkish food joints serve better food than this restaurant. The waiters are rude and food wasn't edible. We sent back wraps because they were not even baked and the waiter returned with something more worse. Same was the case with meat inside. Not properly cooked. Salad was too salty. Bottom-line, if you want to try better quality food in this cuisine, prefer smaller joints nearby.

Worst experience so far in Germany, we had ordered 4 different menus and none of them were edible. the checken in teller was exteremly salty, chicken and falafel balls were hard to find in wraps and the wraps were even not properly backed .....will never dare to visit this place again !!

Great Turkish restaurant the grill is excellent and the desserts too
